Probate is not quite as easy as apple pie, but it is a simple A to Z process that we can guide you through. The administration of your Will is usually a simple process. In an Informal Probate a person, the Personal Representative or Executor, is appointed by the Court to manage the estate. That person rallies the assets, pays the bills, accounts to the Court and distributes the estate to the beneficiaries as stated in the Will. The process usually takes anywhere from four months to a year for a simple Probate. |
A Formal Probate, however, is sometimes necessary. A Formal Probate can be necessary when: the family is in disagreement, family members are missing, the original Will is lost, the distribution language in the Will is unclear, and other circumstances. A Formal Probate can be either supervised by the Court or unsupervised by the Court. Medical Assistance
